TalentSprint, IIT-Madras to provide deeptech programme for professionals
The 12-month PG level advanced programme in applied data science and machine intelligence is designed for early career professionals who are keen to build careers in data science and AI.
Hyderabad: An NSE group company TalentSprint along with Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and AI (RBCDSAI) at IIT-Madras has signed a multi-year partnership to launch multiple deep-tech executive education programmes. The 12-month PG level advanced programme in applied data science and machine intelligence is designed for early career professionals who are keen to build careers in data science and AI.
IIT Madras professor of computer science and head of RBCDSAI Dr B. Ravindran said, “RBCDSAI, an interdisciplinary centre comprising faculty across 8+ IIT Madras departments and 80+ researchers leveraging data science to extract actionable insights in the fields of technology, finance, smart cities, finance and healthcare. Working with TalentSprint allows us to transmit our collective expertise to ambitious young professionals in the early stages of their careers and give them a head start.”
TalentSprint MD and CEO Dr Santanu Paul said, “The demand and supply gap in Applied Data Science is immense right now, and this programme has been designed to squarely address it. We believe the exceptional subject matter expertise of RBCDSAI combined with the contextual industry expertise and online delivery infrastructure of TalentSprint will start to address this widening gap. To that end, we are setting up a dedicated career accelerator to work closely with industry looking for talent and program participants to create win-win outcomes.”
While the certifying authority will be CCE, IIT Madras, the duration of the course will be 12 months in a hybrid format and any early career professionals with a degree in BE/ME/BTech/MTech or any other equivalent degree can apply. The fee is Rs 3 lakh with easy EMI options and applications for the first cohort of the programme that starts in August 2021, is now open.
