Hyderabad: Tandur district hospital has been identified as one of the three top performing hospitals among small hospitals (those having up to 200 beds) for key performance indicators (KPI) availability of diagnostic testing facilities.

The report published by NITI Aayog titled “Best Practices in the Performance of District Hospitals” identified the top-performing district hospitals in the hospital (small, mid-sized, and large category) for each of the 10 KPIs for the financial year 2017-18.


Replying to a question from TRS MP Dr. G Ranjith Reddy in Lok Sabha, union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Bharati Pravin Pawar said the best practices pertaining to KPI concerned were requested from all the top-performing district hospitals. Accordingly, the district hospital concerned had shared their best practices, which were included in the report suitably.
