Hyderabad: Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) and Yashoda Hospitals, in association with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), have collaborated to create awareness about the Covid second wave.

They will be organising a live webinar titled “Covid Wave II – Expert Advice to Stay Safe”, on 8th May 2021, from 11 AM to 12.30PM. The programme will be telecast live on https://task.radiusedutech.com. People can also attend on the Facebook and YouTube channels of TASK and Yashoda Hospitals and on T-SAT Nipuna channel.

The second wave of the Covid pandemic is at its peak in the country and needs collaborative effort to tackle it. One way of fighting the virus is with authentic scientifically-backed information about the disease and its management methods. The webinar will attempt to focus on multiple aspects pertaining to the Covid second wave and questions will be answered by the medical experts.

The keynote address for the webinar will be given by Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary, Department of ITE&C and Industries. He is also a part of the three-member Covid Task Force set up by the government.

Speaking about the event, Dr Pavan Gorukanti, director of Yashoda Hospitals, said, “Covid wave II can only be controlled by collective efforts from the medical fraternity, frontline workers, government and most importantly all the citizens of the country. The live webinar by our Pulmonary and Paediatric experts this Saturday, would hopefully enlighten you with the latest in the respective fields.”

The CEO of TASK, Shrikant Sinha said, “Myths and wrong perceptions about Covid and the ways to handle this disease are aggravating the problem immensely. People have lots of doubts about the second wave. In order to help them get the right information from the experts themselves, we have collaborated with Yashoda Hospitals.”
