Hyderabad: The Hyderabad zone of Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBITC) launched 2 taxpayer facilitation centres at GST Bhavan, Basheerbagh, Medchal GST Bhavan, Lakdikapul and Customs and Air Cargo Complex, Shamshabad, according to press release. The new facilities, which are part of the Azadika Amrit Mahotsav initiative wherein CBITC has launched 75 such facilitation centres for taxpayers, were inaugurated by BV Siva Naga Kumari, Chief Commissioner Hyderabad Zone, Mankoskar Surendrakumar Chandrakanth Rao, Commissioner, Medchal Commissionerate and Sanjay Mahendru, Principal Commissioner respectively.
In the inaugural address, Chief Commissioner, BV Siva Naga Kumari said that the taxpayer facilitation centres are dedicated to serve the taxpayers. She requested the taxpayers to make use of the facilities available at these centres.
The Chief Commissioner also stressed upon the department’s intention to lay more importance on the Taxpayer services.
