Malala Yousufzai once said: ‘One child, One teacher, One book, One pen can change the world.’
When we’re all young, we have our own ‘junior lens’ towards the world. We think we’ll always remain small, things around us will never change, the sun goes down to eat and many more interpretations about everything but it is teachers who actually tell us we’re wrong and tell us what’s right.
A teacher is like a candle who spends the whole life lighting the lives of students. Many such candles, I mean, teachers have lit up my life making me what I am today.
It’s hard to speak about just one teacher. One taught me how to count, one taught me what counts in life. One taught me to speak fearlessly, one taught me how to write gracefully. One taught me how to protect myself in an emergency, one taught me how to avoid problems.
Teachers have filled me up with skills that come into use, every day- every hour- every minute- every second. They have empowered, encouraged, motivated, inspired me to work diligently and always be confident!
One teacher teaches many students, but they don’t seem to forget even a single one. But I assure all my teachers that I’ll never forget them, too!
Hearty gratitude to all of them and finally, I’d conclude, teachers, affect eternity. No one can tell where their influence stops. But it surely influences all.
