Karimnagar: A Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) of the Mandal Parishad Primary School (Girls), Jammikunta, VIM Srinivas, has been suspended on the allegation of spreading false news against government schools.
The District Education Officer issued suspension orders on November 14.
According to the orders, the DEO stated that Srinivas was damaging the reputation of the institution, the department and the government by spreading false information about government schemes, including the Mid-day Meal and others.
The DEO said Srinivas had been recording audio and video inside the school and threatening and blackmailing other teachers and the headmaster. He also allegedly maintained connections with the press, which violates the CCA Rules 1991 and the TG Conduct Rules 1964.
Srinivas was placed under suspension and will remain so until the conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings, the DEO said.
