Teachers associations in Khammam want suspension of a Govt. HM revoked
Teachers’ associations in Khammam urged the district administration to revoke the suspension of a ZPHS headmaster and termination of a KGBV special officer, saying the actions were unjustified and hurt teacher morale.
Teachers associations asked Collector Anudeep D to revoke suspension of a government HM in Khammam.
Khammam: The leaders of different teachers demanded the district administration to revoke the orders issued suspending a ZPHS headmaster and terminating services of a special officer of a KGBV in the district and to reinstate them in the duties.
The associations said the employees and teachers in the district efficiently conducted the three phases of the gram panchayat elections duly following the election rules, despite numerous difficulties and hardships. The teachers played a commendable role in the election process.
The associations protested against the unwarranted suspension of Beerolu ZPHS headmaster Vallamkonda Ravi without investigating the facts of an incident that occurred during the second phase election process at Chegomma gram panchayat in Kusumanchi mandal.
The teacher associations called on district Collector Anudeep Durishetty and submitted a memorandum appealing him to reinstate the suspended returning officer, Ravi. Telangana School Teachers Federation (STF) state president and JAC vice chairman Devarakonda Saidulu stated that such incidents undermine the morale of the teachers and hence suspension should be lifted.
Similarly, he requested that the orders terminating the services of Raghunadhapalem KGBV Special Officer Latha be revoked and she should be reinstated as her family has been left impoverished.
TPTF State secretary Vijay, Headmasters’ Association district president Rayala Veeraswamy, Prasad, TSUTF leaders Sheikh Ramzan and Parupalli Nageswara Rao, TPTF leader Vengal Rao, STF leaders Mansoor and Yadagiri, TRTF leader Matta Srinivas Rao and TPRTU leader Sirisha were present. The Collector was said to have responded positively to the request.
