Hyderabad: Former MLA and Mayor of Hyderabad in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, Teegala Krishna Reddy, was fined Rs 1,000 on Tuesday for violating the mask on policy at Saroornagar here.
According to sources, Krishna Reddy was proceeding in his car from LB Nagar towards Karmanghat when the police stopped the vehicle seeing him, seated in the front seat, without a mask. Reddy allegedly picked up an argument with the police personnel, who maintained that all were equal before the law and issued a challan of Rs 1,000. He was allowed to leave after being served the challan.
