Teenager steps on electric trap, dies in Telangana’s Khammam

Tragedy occurred when M Karunakar along with his father went into the forests near Bondubanda stream searching for their goats

Khammam: A teenager died of electric shock after inadvertently stepping on an electric trap set up for hunting wild animals in Singareni mandal of the district.

M Karunakar (18) of Chimalpad along with his father Kotaiah had gone into the forests near Bondubanda stream area, searching for their goats that got lost during the wee hours of Monday. However, he accidentally stepped on an electric trap and died on the spot.
