Telangana: 13 candidates file nominations for teachers’ MLC constituency polls
While Puli Sarottam Reddy from BJP filed his papers, 12 others filed nominations as independent candidates

Nalgonda: As part of the election process for the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teachers’ MLC constituency, 13 candidates filed 16 sets of nominations on Friday according to Nalgonda District Collector and Returning Officer for the constituency Ila Tripathi. Puli Sarottam Reddy from the Bharatiya Janata Party filed his nomination.
The Collector said that the remaining 12 candidates filed nominations as independent candidates.
Among them, Ele Chandramohan, S Sundara Raj, Damera Baburao, Pula Ravinder, Talakola Purushottam Reddy, Dr Kolipaka Venkataswamy, Chalika Chandrasekhar, Kandu Sayanna, Jangiti Kailasam and Galreddy Harshavardhan Reddy filed one nomination set each.
The Collector revealed that Pingili Sripal filed two sets of nominations and Alugubelli Narsireddy filed three sets of nominations as independent candidates.
Additional Collector and Assistant Returning Officer J Srinivas and Miryalaguda Sub-Collector Narayan Amit were present when the nominations were filed. Last day for filing nominations is February 10.
