Telangana: 30 fall ill after consuming adulterated toddy in Kamareddy
Victims complain of stomach and body pains, and lose consciousness; condition of four persons critical
KAMAREDDY: Nearly 30 persons, including a few women, fell ill reportedly after consuming adulterated toddy in Ankole, Durki and Damarancha villages of the district on Monday. The condition of four persons was stated to be critical while one was shifted to Government General Hospital in Nizamabad for better treatment.
After consuming the adulterated toddy, people complained about stomach and body pains, and started losing consciousness.
Immediately, special health camps were set up in the villages and treatment was extended to the patients who were later shifted to government hospital at Banswada, according to reports.
