Telangana: 50 devotees injured in tent collapse in Sangareddy
Incident occurred at a Swamy Narendracharya Maharaj Paduka Darshan programme organised at Vasar village
Sangareddy: At least 50 devotees sustained injuries after a tent collapsed on them during a spiritual programme at Vasar in Sirgapur mandal on Monday.
According to the police, a Swamy Narendracharya Maharaj Paduka Darshan programme was organised at Vasar village where the organisers put up a massive tent to protect the devotees from sweltering heat. However, the tent collapsed while the devotees were sitting inside, causing injuries to several of them. Ten of them sustained serious injuries.
The injured were rushed to government hospital in Narayankhed after providing first aid in local hospitals. The police have registered a case.
