Telangana: 60-year-old man, married thrice, killed by first wife, sons in Jagtial

Jagtial: In a tragic incident, a 60-year-old man was brutally murdered, allegedly by his wife and children, in Polasa of Jagtial mandal. Padala Kamalakar was stabbed with a knife before being set on on fire after he was doused with petrol. He died while undergoing treatment in hospital.
According to the police, Kamalakar, who had already married twice, got married a third time recently and was staying in the village. There was a conflict over this between him, his first wife Jamuna and her sons.
On Saturday, Jamuna along with sons Chiranjeevi and Ranjit, daughter Shirisha and son-in-law Shoban Babu went to Kamalakar’s residence and entered into an argument with him. As the argument turned serious, they attacked Kamalakar with a knife and set him on fire after dousing him with petrol.
Kamalakar was shifted to the district headquarters hospital where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment. Based on the complaint lodged by his brothers, police registered a case and are investigating.
