AB InBev Aids communities with essential ration Kits in Sangareddy, Telangana
Hyderabad: AB InBev India’s Crown and Charminar Breweries in Sangareddy extended their support to its nearby communities affected with Covid-19 with essential ration kits consisting of food and sanitation supplies.
More than 2,000 families across 11 villages (Mallepally, Gunthapally, Gopularam, Terphole, Gollapally, Shivampet, Chakriyal, Choutkur, Fasalwadi, Ligampally and Vendikole) in Sangareddy district, were provided with 15 kg essential ration kits consisting of rice, atta/wheat flour, oil, spices, different types of lentils, salt, and sugar along with sanitisers and soaps.
AB InBev India is working with local authorities and medical officials closely to support the affected communities in the Sangareddy district of Telangana.
Earlier this month, the brewer committed more than 300 oxygen concentrators, over 8,000 essential aid kits to Covid-19 affected families, over 5,00,000 masks, 5,000 plus test kits in 50 villages across the country.
Last year, AB InBev impacted more than 15 lakh frontline workers across Telangana, Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Haryana by providing more than 2,50,000 bottles of hand sanitisers, 3,750 PPE Kits and 25,000 FFP2 masks.
