Telangana: Additional funds will help municipalities, says official

Director of Municipal Administration N Satyanarayana, who inspected Swachh Badi and several other places in Siddipet Municipality during his visit, has examined the various works taken up at Swachh Badi

Siddipet: Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration N Satyanarayana has said the additional funds given under Swachh Bharath by the government will help the Municipalities take up various development works.

Satyanarayana, who inspected Swachh Badi and several other places in Siddipet Municipality during his visit, has examined the various works taken up at Swachh Badi.

Appreciating the Corporator Deepthi Nagaraju, who was heading the Swachh Badi, for manufacturing bricks with plastic waste, the senior IAS officer has lauded avenue plantation taken up along the roads in Siddipet town. The Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration has visited the KCR Nagar Colony where the government taken up the construction of 2,460 2BHK houses besides visiting Integrated Market, Function Hall and others.

Later, the Commissioner has reviewed the progress of collection of taxes, sanitation and progress of the development works. Municipal Chairman Kadavergu Rajanarsu, Municipal Chairman KV Ramana Chary and others were present.
