Hyderabad: Alleging that PJTAU Vice Chancellor and Registrar initiated vindictive action against university scientists, the Telangana Agri Scientists Association staged a black badge protest on Tuesday.
According to the association, scientists were being targeted for raising their voices over various issues being faced by the university employees. They alleged that the administration was deliberately ignoring employees’ issues, including the career advancement scheme (CAS).
According to sources, the university served notices to some scientists who turned up late for a training programme on CPS specifically organised for them.
“Instead of attending the training programme, the employees were representing their issues of CAS format to the university officials. This has reportedly prompted the university to issue notices,” sources added.
