Telangana: Another weaver dies by suicide in Sircilla

The weaver had borrowed Rs 10 lakh for the construction of the house and for the marriages of his children. Unable to clear the debts, he took the extreme step, police said

Rajanna-Sircilla: Unable to clear his debts, a weaver, Erram Komuraiah, 55, died by suicide in Sircilla on Wednesday.

Komuraiah ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling in his residence. He was found hanging in the morning when other family members woke up.

He was survived by his wife Kamala, two sons Srikanth and Saikumar, and a daughter Varalakshmi.

Komuraiah, who had performed the marriages of his daughter and one son, landed in debt after constructing a new house. He was facing a severe financial crisis due to lack of employment during the last eight months.

He had borrowed Rs 10 lakh for the construction of the house and for the marriages of his children. Unable to clear the debts, he took the extreme step, police said.

The body was shifted to the Sircilla hospital for postmortem, while a case has been registered.
