Telangana athlete N Pravallika receives grand welcome after winning Asian U-23 relay gold
International sprinter N. Pravallika received a grand reception at the Hyderabad airport following her gold-medal win in the 4x400m relay at the Asian U-23 Athletics Championship in Ordos, China. TSWREIS and TAA officials lauded her achievement
Hyderabad: International athlete N.Pravallika was given a warm welcome at the Hyderabad Airport on Wednesday on her return with a gold in the 4 x 4 00m relay event in the Asian under-23 athletics championship in Ordos (China)at Shamshabad, today at 1:30 AM, on her arrival after winning the Gold Medal in the 4×400m Relay at The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree & Junior College PDs & PETs Association, along with coaches, parents, and well-wishers.
Mr. B.E. Stanley Jones, President, Telangana Athletics Association (TAA), was also given a touching reception.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rama Laxman (Chairman), along with Chander (General Secretary), Harikishan (Treasurer), and Shamsher Ali (Organizing Secretary), congratulated Pravallika for bringing immense pride to India and Telangana.
“It has been a remarkable achievement and we wish Pravallika many more successes at the international level,” the TSWREIS officials said.
“We are confident that Pravallika’s outstanding performance would inspire young athletes across Telangana to pursue excellence in sports,” they said.
