Telangana: Ayyappa temple priest dies of Covid in Peddapalli

A few days ago, he tested positive for the deadly virus and was undergoing treatment in home isolation.

Peddapalli: A priest Vanamalai Venkatacharyulu (45) died of Coronavirus on Thursday night.

A resident of 8 incline colony, Godavarikhani, Venkatacharyulu was working as a priest in the local Ayyappa Swamy temple. A few days ago, he tested positive for the deadly virus and was undergoing treatment in home isolation.

On Thursday night, he developed breathing problem and family members tried to shift him to a hospital in Godavarikhani. However, he breathed his last on his way to hospital.

Temple committee members and local public expressed deep condolences over the death of protest.
