Telangana BIE announces Dasara holidays for junior colleges

All junior colleges will have first term holidays from September 27 to October 5. The colleges will be reopened on October 6

Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) on Friday announced Dasara vacation (first term holidays) from September 27 to October 5 (inclusive of both days).

The colleges will be reopened on October 6.

In a directive, TG BIE Secretary S Krishna Aditya asked all junior colleges to strictly adhere to the first term holiday schedule. He directed private unaided junior colleges not to hold classes during the holidays.

“Violation of instructions will be viewed seriously and action, including disaffiliation, will be initiated against the erring managements/principals,” he added.
