HYDERABAD: After the Delhi Assembly elections outcome, the Telangana BJP unit is all pumped up and is claiming that it would emerge victorious in the three MLC elections to be held here shortly.

Union Minister and BJP State president G Kishan Reddy said that in the future, the BJP would win the elections in Telangana and Karnataka. People in Telangana were keen to extend support to BJP, he told the party leaders here on Saturday.

In the MLC elections and ensuing local bodies, the BJP would prove its might. The Congress government in the State had deceived all sections with guarantees and failed miserably in implementing the promises, he said.

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay also said that after Delhi, the BJP would form a government in Telangana. The foundation for this would be laid from performing well in the MLC elections, followed by local bodies, he said, adding that the party was confident that people would support the BJP candidates in the MLC elections.
