Hyderabad: Commemorating the 125th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose, Goshamahal MLA and BJP Floor leader in the Legislative Assembly Raja Singh paid floral tributes to the freedom fighter at the party office here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, the BJP MLA said Netaji had taken up several freedom struggles against the British and inspired many to join the fight for independence. “Unfortunately, the Congress made people forget such freedom fighters,” charged Raja Singh.

The BJP has launched a special programme to remember the sacrifices made by several people, who fought for freedom. Under this initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at India Gate, he said.

The present generation should learn about Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Inspired by Nethaji, the State BJP unit would fight against the undemocratic rule of TRS Government, he said.
