Hyderabad: BJP MLA M Raghunandan Rao on Friday demanded that the State government convene the ongoing Monsoon session for one month to discuss problems faced by the people in the State.
Speaking to mediapersons, Rao said he along with party MLA T Raja Singh would stage a protest at the Mahatma Gandhi statue on the Assembly premises since the government did not invite the two BJP legislators for the BAC meeting.
Meanwhile, State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar demanded that the State government supply fertilizers to farmers free of cost.
Interacting with the people during his ‘Praja Sangrama’ yatra, which entered 28th day on Friday in Rajanna Sircilla, he requested the State government to set up maize purchasing centres immediately and protect farmers from brokers in districts. He also demanded that the government issue Pattadar Passbooks to eligible farmers.
