Khammam: BJP MP Eatala Rajender accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of lacking sincerity on the BC caste survey. Addressing the media here on Tuesday, he noted that the States should do the caste census as each State has its own reservation for each caste.

“If the Congress government was honest and has integrity, a commission should be formed to conduct caste census scientifically. Tamil Nadu has formed a statutory committee and done so. Bihar has also done the same,” he said.

It was a common fact that the population continues to increase how the BC population could decrease, Rajender questioned. The population of the State, which was 3.61 crore in 2011, would cross 4 crore and the same would happen with the BC population, the MP said.

Every decision of Revanth Reddy was going wrong. Rahul Gandhi says in Parliament that Telangana has a large population of backward classes and then how the BC population could be 46 per cent, he asked.

He was here to campaign for the BJP’s candidate for Khammam, Nalgonda, Warangal Teacher MLC constituency polls, Puli Sarottam Reddy. Former MP Sitaram Naik, former MLAs Saidi Reddy, Subhash Reddy, the party district president Galla Satyanarayana and others were present.
