Telangana CM Revanth Reddy meets Union Ministers in Delhi, seeks clearance for projects
Requests Forest and Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav to grant clearance for 161 projects, Heavy Industries Minister HD Kumaraswamy to support conversion of all buses into electric models in Hyderabad city
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy requested Union Minister for Forest and Environment Bhupender Yadav to grant forest and environmental clearance to 161 projects and also accord permissions for 38 projects under the Wildlife Protection Acts.
The Chief Minister met the Union Minister at his office in New Delhi on Thursday.
During the meeting, he informed the Union Minister that most of the pending projects have been launched in the remote areas and a few were affected by Left Wing Extremism.
He also brought the issue of permissions related to the Gouravelli project to the attention of the Union Minister.
Later, the Chief Minister urged Union Minister for Heavy Industries HD Kumaraswamy to support the conversion of all buses into electric models in Hyderabad city.
During a meeting with Kumaraswamy, he appealed for 2,800 buses to be allotted by the Central government to Hyderabad under the retro-fitment model along with the GCC.
The Chief Minister also paid a courtesy call on Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Steel Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma in New Delhi.
