Telangana: Coal mine worker dies of heart stroke in Singareni coal mine in Peddapalli

Peddapalli: A Singareni worker, Naresh died, reportedly of a heart stroke in the GDK-2 incline coal mine in the Ramagundam-I area on Friday morning.

Naresh, who was working as a coal cutter, suffered a heart stroke and collapsed while giving attendance at the coal mine in the morning shift. He died on the spot.

Colleagues and other workers alleged that Naresh died as the ambulance did not reach the spot on time to shift him to the hospital. He might have survived if he was shifted to hospital immediately, they said.

Trade union leaders demanded the management to treat Naresh’s death as an accident and provide all benefits.

The body was shifted to the Godavarikhani Singareni area hospital for postmortem.
