Telangana: Cochin Queens team shines in Asmita Women’s Rowing League

Hyderabad: Hyderabad won the Queen’s overall trophy in the Asmita Women’s Rowing League 2025 competition that was held in the Under-19 category for three days.

Cochin Queens won the overall trophy in the Under 23 category. The team stood first overall in both the age groups and Hyderabad Queens stood second.


Sports Authority of Telangana VC & MD Sonibala Devi, who was the chief guest at the closing ceremony on Saturday, presented the medals to the winners.

She congratulated Dronacharya awardee Ismail Baig for conducting the rowing league competitions with great success.

Rajalakshmi Devi, president, Rowing Federation of India, was also present.
