Hyderabad: BRS leader, Sravan Dasoju strongly condemned what he described as a blatant witch-hunt launched targeting T Harish Rao, MLA and former Minister.

Taking to social media platform ‘X’, Dasoju on Saturday decried the politically motivated FIR registered by the Bachupally police, labeling it as an outrageous assault on justice and an abuse of authority.

He criticised the FIR as a malafide attempt to harass and intimidate political opponents, despite the High Court granting protection in the original case. The new FIR has raised concerns about state-sponsored oppression.

Under the Congress rule led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the Telangana police have allegedly been reduced to a tool of political persecution and suppression. Police were executing a vendetta-driven malicious agenda orchestrated by the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), he said.

“This is not governance, but a full-fledged Police Raj under a dictatorial and vengeful regime,” he stated. “It is an attempt to settle political scores and silence democratic voices”, he said.

Here is Sravan Dasoju’s post.

Strongly condemn this outrageous assault on justice and abuse of authority..

For the second time, Shri Harish Rao @BRSHarish is being subjected to a blatant witch-hunt, falsely implicated through a frivolous, politically motivated FIR registered by @BachupallyS, despite zero… pic.twitter.com/JqKp7sBYRQ
