Hyderabad: Telangana continued to get pounded with intense spells of showers, even as the Hyderabad MET department issued a heavy rainfall warning in districts till July 27.

Heavy rainfall warning ranging from 115.6 mm to 204.4 mm has been issued to Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem till Sunday.

In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 83.9 mm was recorded at Kouthala, Komaram Bheem Asifabad. The Statewide day average rainfall was around 11.5 mm, much higher than the normal of 8.6 mm.

Based on the forecasts, almost all regions of Telangana will continue to receive light, moderate, and heavy rainfall till this month.
