Telangana cops bag medals in All India Police Kabaddi Cluster
Win four silver and five bronze in the All India Police Kabaddi Cluster
HYDERABAD: Telangana Police put up a fine show winning four silver and five bronze in the All India Police Kabaddi Cluster (kabaddi, kho kho, fencing, gymnastics) sports meet held in Jalandhar (Punjab).
Fencers SR Arjun Anand (Intelligence), G Omkarnath ( PS Shalibanda), K Sathish Kumar (ACP Office, Chikkadapally), Y Raghavendra (PS Abids) have won a silver medal in men’s epee event while G Spandana (Cyber Crimes), G. Ambica (Cyber Crimes), Shaik. Fouzia W(PS Rural, Bhongir) has won bronze in women’s foil team event.
Shaik Fouzia also won the individual bronze in fencing foil event while B Mounica (RSI), bagged an individual bronze in gymnastics floor event.
Dr Jitender, DGP, Telangana, felicitated the medallists along with the sports officer, coaches. M Ramesh, IPS, IGP Sports, DSP Rama Rao also took part in the event.
