Telangana DGP suspends three police officials in Warangal

Telangana DGP Shivadhar Reddy suspended three police officials, including a former ACP, following an inquiry into allegations of registering false cases at Mattewada police station in Warangal

Warangal: Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) B Shivadhar Reddy issued orders suspending a senior police official Nandiram Naik, who previously served as ACP in Warangal, along with CCS Inspector T Gopi and Sub-Inspector Vithal.

A complaint was received alleging that the officials in question registered false cases at Mattewada police station under Warangal Police Commissionerate.


Based on investigation and the report submitted by the officials, the three police officers have been suspended, said an official release on Monday.
