Hyderabad: The State government on Thursday announced a temporary suspension of Dharani portal services until December 16 to facilitate a database version upgrade. Officials stated that the process is expected to be completed by the morning of December 16.

The management of the Dharani portal, a key platform for land-related transactions, was recently handed over to the central agency, National Informatics Centre (NIC). The upgradation is said to be part of the exercise to improve the portal’s efficiency and implement user-friendly changes to support the proposed changes in the portal in tune with the new Telangana Record of Rights Bill 2024.
