Hyderabad: The digital classes being conducted by the School Education department for the Classes VIII to X has recorded 63.38 per cent viewership on Tuesday.
According to details released by the department, while there are 7,19,385 students in Classes VIII to X in government, local body, KBGVs, Model, TREIS, URS and aided schools in the State, 4,55,912 students viewed the digital lessons that are being telecast on T-SAT Vidya channel from 10 am to 5 pm.
Of the total who viewed the digital lessons, 3,07,154 students viewed on TV and 1,31,130 on smart phones/laptops/computers.
The digital classes are being conducted as the State government extended holidays for all educational institutions, except for medical colleges, till January 30.
