Hyderabad: A one-minute late norm will be strictly enforced for the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2026 commencing Monday.

Candidates will be permitted into the examination hall from 7 am for the Forenoon (FN) session and 1.30 pm for the Afternoon (AN) session. No candidate will be allowed into the centre once the test begins at 9 am for the FN session and after 3 pm for the AN session.

Further, students will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till the end of the test duration, i.e., 12 noon for the FN session and 6 pm for the AN session, under any circumstances. Candidates have been advised to visit the test centre in advance to get acquainted with the centre’s location.

A total of 90,958 students have registered for the A&P entrance test, which will be conducted at 106 centres on May 4 and 5.

Black or blue ballpoint pen, hall ticket and at least one valid original photo identification (not a photocopy or scanned copy) will only be allowed to be carried inside the examination hall.

Carrying calculators, mathematical or log tables, pagers, cell phones, wrist watches or any other electronic gadgets and personal belongings into the examination hall is prohibited.

After completion of the examination duration, the marks secured by the candidates will be displayed on their respective screens as per the preliminary key, said Prof. K Vijaya Kumar Reddy, Convener TG EAPCET and Rector JNTU-Hyderabad. However, the TG EAPCET-2026 rank will be allotted purely based on the performance (normalised marks according to the final key) in the TG EAPCET-2026 examination, he said.

The bandwidth of marks versus rank obtained by candidates in TG EAPCET 2024 and 2025 has already been hosted on the website https://eapcet.tgche.ac.in/ for students’ information. The engineering entrance test will be held from May 9 to 11.
