Telangana: Farmers clash for urea at PACS in Thimmapur
Many fail to get the fertilizer as only 350 bags supplied to the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society
KARIMNAGAR: A clash broke out among farmers who gathered to buy urea at Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society (PACS) in Mallapur village of Thimmapur mandal on Friday.
A huge number of farmers thronged the PACS after knowing that urea stocks have arrived to the society on Friday. Though many farmers stood in a queue in front of the society office, the distribution of urea was completed within one hour.
Many farmers did not get urea as only 350 bags were supplied to the society. A scuffle broke out between farmers as all of them tried to forcibly enter the PACS office. Some of them argued with society officials too.
