Telangana: Farmers in Sangareddy urged to avail subsidies for horticulture cultivation

Subsidies available for drip irrigation, sprinklers, oil palm cultivation, pandal systems, bamboo cultivation among others, says District Horticulture Officer

Sangareddy: District Horticulture Officer P Umamaheshwar Rao has urged farmers to take full advantage of government subsidies available for horticulture crop cultivation this season.

Highlighting the benefits, Rao said the government was offering subsidies ranging from 80 to 100 per cent on drip irrigation systems for farmers across various categories. The scheme would cover up to 2,155 acres during the current season. In addition to drip irrigation, subsidies were also available for sprinklers, oil palm cultivation, other horticulture crops, pandal systems, bamboo cultivation, among others.
