Telangana: Father and son electrocuted by farm fencing in Siddipet

A farmer and his son died after being electrocuted by an electric fence set up to keep wild boars away from crops in Siddipet’s Gangapur village. The tragic incident shocked locals, and police have registered a case for investigation

Siddipet: In a tragic incident, an electric fence laid to prevent wild boars from entering farm fields claimed the lives of a farmer and his son at Gangapur village in Chinna Kodur mandal on Monday.

The victims were identified as M Gajendar Reddy (60) and his son Vijayendar Reddy (27). They had gone to their field in the morning and accidentally came in contact with the live fencing wire while working. Both died instantly.


The incident shocked the entire village. Police registered a case and took up an investigation.
