Telangana: Five-month-old baby among two killed in road accident in Choutuppal

Hyderabad-bound car hits road divider and collides with another car heading towards Vijayawada

Bhongir: Two persons, including a five-month-old child, were killed in a road accident near Dandu Malkapuram village in Choutuppal mandal on Wednesday. The accident occurred when a Hyderabad-bound car hit a road divider and collided with another car heading towards Vijayawada.

The collision resulted in the death of two of the three passengers in one of the cars. The condition of the other person is said to be critical. The deceased were identified as Sai Kumar (33) and Veeransh (5-month-old infant). The victims were from the same family that was travelling from Hyderabad to Suryapet. The two passengers in the car travelling towards Hyderabad sustained severe injuries. The injured have been rushed to Choutuppal government hospital for treatment.


A case has been registered by the police and investigation is underway.
