Hyderabad: Telangana Football Association GP Palguna appealed to the Sports Authority of Telangana to release funds to the recognised sports associations in the State.
“In the first instance, we sincerely thank SATG for successfully conducting the second edition of the CM’s Cup and we are encouraged by the budget of Rs 646 crore for sports in the State’s 2026-27 annual budget,” he said in the letter.
“We are grateful to CM A Revanth Reddy for his visionary leadership and continued support to the sporting ecosystem,” the TFA official said.
“We assure you that TFA maintains its financial records and accounts with the highest standards of transparency, accountability and compliance,” he said.
“We remain committed to the judicious and effective use of the funds for the development of football in the State,” Palguna said.
“We wish to reiterate that all relevant bills, receipts and Utilisation Certificates of all Inter District Football Tournaments and yearly Audit Reports have already been duly submitted for your kind consideration in accordance with SATG norms,” he said.
