Telangana Forest Development Corporation to host Nature Camp at Manchirevula
TGFDC will host the Rock Bay Nature Camp at Forest Trek Park, Manchirevula, from February 28 to March 1, featuring camping, trekking and bird watching. A separate Bird Walk is scheduled on March 1, with registrations open online
Hyderabad: Telangana Forest Development Corporation (TGFDC) is organising Rock Bay Nature Camp at Forest Trek Park, Manchirevula, on February 28 from 4 pm to March 1, 10 am.
The Nature Camp is designed to provide participants with an immersive outdoor experience combined with environmental education and adventure-based learning. It includes team building activities, tent pitching, nocturnal walk, night camping, campfire, early morning bird watching, trekking and nature trail explorations. Participants will be provided with evening snacks, dinner and breakfast as part of the camp package.
In addition, TGFDC will conduct a Bird Walk on March 1 from 6 am to 9.30 am at Forest Trek Park. The walk is open to children and adults alike and participants will have the opportunity to learn about bird species identification, nesting habitats, ecological preferences, feeding habits, flight patterns and social behaviour.
The participation fee for Rock Bay Nature Camp is Rs 1,199 for children (6 to 12 years) and Rs 1,999 for those above 13 years. The fee for Bird Walk is Rs 1,999. Those interested can book slots through the official website: www.deccanwoodsandtrails.com or contact 98852 98980 / 94935 49399.
