TGFDC to hold nature camp at Manchirevula Forest Trek Park
The Telangana Forest Development Corporation is organising an overnight nature camp and a Bird Walk at the Forest Trek Park in Manchirevula, Hyderabad. The eco-tourism initiative offers guided activities, trekking, camping, and birdwatching for nature enthusiasts.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Forest Development Corporation (TGFDC) is holding a nature camp at the Forest Trek Park, Manchirevula, Hyderabad, under its eco-tourism initiative.
The camp, which will be conducted from December 27 (4 pm) to 28 (10 am), offers participants a unique opportunity to connect with nature through a range of engaging and educational activities. It includes tent pitching, nocturnal forest walk, night camping, campfire, morning bird watching, trekking and a guided nature trail.
A participation fee of Rs 1,199 per child (aged 6 to 12) and Rs 1,999 per person above the age of 13 years will be charged for the nature camp. Participants will also be provided with evening snacks, dinner and breakfast during the camp.
In addition, TGFDC is organising a Bird Walk on December 28 from 6 am at the Forest Trek Park and participants can gain insights into identifying different bird species, their habitats, nesting patterns, food habits, flight techniques, and social behaviour. Experienced naturalists will guide the participants and provide detailed explanations during the walk. The participation fee for the bird walk is Rs 450 per person.
