Hyderabad: Being at the vanguard of the new phase development, Telangana has the best practices put in place to serve as the growth propellers and exceptional results achieved by it in nine years would serve as a bench mark of growth for rest of India, said the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday.
He unfurled the tricolour at the Dr B R Ambedkar Secretariat complex after paying floral tributes to the Telangana Martyrs at Gun Park as the decennial celebrations of the Telangana State Formation Day was off to a colourful start.
“I assured the people of the state at the ‘Telangana Avirbhava Sabha’ on June 2, 2014 that I will rebuild Telangana such a way that the nation would be able to learn a great deal from it. It has become a reality with in a span of nine years. Telangana has emerged as an inspiring example by projecting a development model of its own for the country to emulate”, he averred.
The progress achieved so far owed to only six years of success. The epidemic of corona has left the progress scuttled every way for three years. Despite the odds, Telangana model has emerged as the most sought after development model with people in all states demanding it to be replicated. It had won the appreciation at the national and international fora, he noted.
Acknowledging the great contributions made by people in every walk of life including the government employees, elected representatives and the bureaucrats, he said the state should shape itself into a perennial source of inspiration for future generations as well.
