Telangana: Four die as car ploughs through roadside huts in Karimnagar
According to police, a car proceeding towards Hyderabad from Kaman chowk rammed into temporary huts erected by some people, who eke oiut their livelihood by making knives, axes and other instruments.

Karimnagar: In a ghastly road accident, four persons died and a few others injured when a speeding car ploughed through roadside huts near Kothirampur of Karimnagar town on Sunday morning.
According to police, a car proceeding towards Hyderabad from Kaman chowk rammed into temporary huts erected by some people, who eke oiut their livelihood by making knives, axes and other instruments. The vehicle hit the huts after the driver lost control over the steering.
A woman, who was trapped in between a car and an electric pole, died on the spot. Nine injured persons were shifted to district headquarters hospital wherein three persons breathed their last while undergoing treatment.
The dead were identified as Pariyad, Sunitha, Lalitha and Jyothi. Police rushed the spot and began investigation after registering a case. Search is on for the car driver, who is believed to have fled the scene.
