Sangareddy: Four persons were killed in a freak road accident on Bidar-Zaheerabad road at Didgi on Sunday afternoon. According to Zaheerabad Police, a man was proceeding towards Bidar in a car. When he lost control over the wheel, the car overturned and hit a bike coming in the opposite direction.
Three of a family traveling on the bike, including an eight-month-old baby, died on the spot. The victims were identified as Balaraju (28) his wife Sravani (22) and their only daughter Ammulu (8 months), natives of Bachupally in Gooty in Ananthapuram district of Andhra Pradesh State, but staying in Zaheerabad town.
Due to the high intensity of the collision, the bike went up in flames. The car driver also died on the spot. He was identified as Mohammad Fareed (25), a resident of Patlur in Marpally Mandal of Vikarabad district. The rash and reckless driving of the car driver resulted in the accident. The Zaheerabad Police have registered a case. The bodies have been shifted to Area Hospital Zaheerabad.
