Addressing on the occasion, the Minister said entire nation was looking towards Telangana for the welfare and development programmes being implemented in the State.

Opposition parties criticised Rythu Bandhu scheme saying it was being introduced as a political strategy. Under this initiative, so far, in eight editions, Rs.50,400 crore have been deposited into farmers’ accounts in the State, he said.

Though, the entire world was affected due to covid pandemic, the Chief Minister ensured there was no obstruction in implementation of welfare programmes in the State, the Minister pointed out.

“Depending on the people’s aspirations and requirements, the TRS Government was introducing and implementing welfare programmes,” Niranjan Reddy said.
