Telangana government orders major reshuffle of IPS officers
The State government on Saturday ordered a major reshuffle in the police department, transferring and posting 20 IPS officers across Telangana. Several key commissionerate and traffic wing changes were made, including new appointments in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri commissionerates

Hyderabad: The State government on Saturday ordered a major reshuffle in the police department, transferring and giving new postings to as many as 20 IPS officers.
As per the orders, Dr Gajarao Bhupal has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Provisioning and Logistics, Telangana, Hyderabad. He has also been given full additional charge as IGP, Sports and Welfare.
Abhishek Mohanty has been posted as DIG, Vigilance and Enforcement, Hyderabad, while R Bhaskaran has been elevated and posted as DIG, CI Cell, Intelligence, Hyderabad.
In key commissionerate-level changes, G Chandana Deepthi has been appointed Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration and Traffic), Future City Commissionerate, while T Annapurna has been posted as DCP (Administration), Cyberabad.
Several traffic wings also witnessed significant reshuffling. B K Rahul Hegde has been posted as DCP, Traffic-III, Hyderabad, while Avinash Kumar and Kajal were posted as DCP, Traffic-I and DCP, Traffic-II in Hyderabad Police Commissionerate.
In Cyberabad and Malkajgiri Police Commissionerates, S Sheshadrini Reddy and Kankanala Rahul Reddy were posted as DCPs (Traffic), while J Ranjan Rathan Kumar was entrusted with Traffic-I, Cyberabad, along with additional charge of administration, including e-challan, RITAM Cell and road safety.
Other notable postings include S Chaitanya Kumar as DCP, Crimes, DD, Hyderabad, R Venkateshwarlu as SP, CID, and B Bala Swamy as SP, Vigilance and Enforcement.
