The State government on Saturday ordered a major reshuffle in the police department, transferring and posting 20 IPS officers across Telangana. Several key commissionerate and traffic wing changes were made, including new appointments in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri commissionerates

She asked the political parties for their cooperation for implementation of the MCC and peaceful conduct of the polling.

The police nabbed one of the three accused who were closely associated with Dharmakar Srinivas in various businesses.
