Telangana govt forms panel to identify Udyamakarulu, honour sacrifices
The Telangana government has constituted a six-member committee to identify and honour Telangana Udyamakarulu, the activists of the statehood movement. Headed by Advisor to Government K Keshava Rao, the panel will evolve criteria, prepare a list of activists, and recommend the nature of recognition and facilities to be extended to them.

Hyderabad: The State government has constituted a six-member committee for the identification of Telangana Udyamakarulu (Telangana movement activists) to recognize and honour their contributions and sacrifices.
Advisor to the Government K Keshava Rao is the Chairman of the Committee and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar is a Member. MLC Prof Kodandaram, MLC and whip Addanki Dayakar, former MLC S Ramulu Naik and Mothe Sobhan Reddy are the other members.
The Committee has been entrusted with the task of evolving and establishing criteria for the identification of Telangana Udyamakarulu. It will prepare a list of the Telangana Udyamakarulu and make recommendations regarding the nature of recognition, honours and courtesies or facilities to be extended to them.
