Telangana govt sanctions Rs 1.5 Cr for 1,000 Dandari troupes in Adilabad

ITDA-Utnoor Project Officer Khusbu Gupta announced that each troupe would receive ₹15,000 as a Diwali gift. She emphasized that the government is committed to preserving and passing down tribal culture and traditions to future generations.

Adilabad: State government sanctioned Rs 1.50 crore to 1,000 Dandari troupes across erstwhile Adilabad district. An order to this effect was issued on Monday.

ITDA-Utnoor project officer Khusbu Gupta said that each troupe would get a fund of Rs 15,000 as a gift for the Diwali festival. She stated that the government was striving to protect and carry forward the culture and traditions of the tribals to future generations.
