Speaking to Telangana Today, he said that the scheme would help the government to provide quality education in English medium on a par with corporate schools, to students dwelling in even the remote parts of Telangana, using modern information and communication technologies. The initiative is a role model to the country and can be followed by all States, he added.
The honorary president stated that the State had already set an example to other States by strengthening residential education and by creating new institutions. It has spent huge amounts for offering quality education to the poor, he said and added that those students who passed out of these educational institutions secured opportunities to pursue higher education in premier institutions of the country.
The teacher’s union leader further observed that the Mana Ooru-Mana Badi scheme would enable students of rural parts to compete with their counterparts of urban areas in cracking jobs and in bringing recognition to the country by excelling on international platforms. He added that the initiative would be successful only when teachers and parents extend their cooperation to the government.
The headmaster of a government school in Mamidipalli of Dandepalli, he maintained that the introduction of the scheme indicated Chandrashekhar Rao’s unrequited love and concern for the children of financially challenged communities. He assured that the union would sincerely extend all support for the effective implementation of the initiative. He requested everyone to become partners of the scheme and make it successful.
